The Pact

What is the Narrative structure of the whole film? (Why was it chosen?)
The narrative structure of the film is Liner, the story is told in the order in which events happen.
The reason why they have chosen this is because it’s a horror movie and they slowly find out step by step what is going on and have to try and resolve the situation. And most horror films use this type of narrative structure.

What is the narrative point of view? (Why was it used?)
The narratives point of view is a restricted narrative, we as the audience know the same things as the characters in the film. This has been used so that the audience feel like they are part of the film. Doing this makes the audience more involved in the film, and gives it that frightening feeling.

Which narrative events where chosen for the trailer and why?
The trailer of the film shows who’s gone missing, gives you an idea of what will happen because she has gone. It shows the freighting parts of the film to get the audience interested and makes them want to know what happens next and also the best scenes have been put together to make it look like a good film, but then again doesn’t spoil the film.
